Mansoura Medicine celebrates the graduation of Malaysian students, Class of 2022
On Sunday, the Faculty of Medicine at Mansoura University organized a graduation ceremony for Malaysian students, batch 2022, for the Mansoura Manchester Medical Program, in the presence of Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, Zamani Bin Ismail, Ambassador of Malaysia to Cairo, Dr. Muhammad Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ashraf Shoma, Dean Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Tamer Abu Al-Saad, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Basma Shoman, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Ghada Al-Fneishy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Ahmed Najm, Director of the Manchester Program, Dr. Amani Shoma, Director of Expatriates at the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Dr. Adel Bandaq, Dr. Rafik Barakat, Dr. Ahmed Al-Adl, supervisor of the Expatriates Department, Dr. Osama Al-Shahat, Head of the Dakahlia Physicians Syndicate, faculty members.
A video was shown of Mansoura University in its various faculties and medical and research centers, then a video was shown of the journey of a Malaysian student from the beginning of his enrollment in the university and the stages of his studies in the college and his training in university hospitals and his practice of various activities with his colleagues, until his arrival on graduation day.
Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, expressed his happiness with the participation of Malaysian students in their graduation ceremony and obtaining a first university degree, to join their colleagues in order to perform together a great message, pointing out the importance of raising the level of science and knowledge coupled with practical practice due to its importance in the medical sector due to the almost daily development it witnesses. On the one hand, to confront new diseases.
Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, referred to the efforts of the faculty members, for their ability to raise the level of graduates. He also called on students to complete postgraduate studies at the university, wishing them a bright future.
Dr. Ashraf Shoma considered the graduation day a special day after years of acquiring knowledge in light of the challenges, and called on the graduates to have confidence in themselves because they possess many skills required by the nature of the profession, and he thanked the university administration and the faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine for the support they provided to these students to reach the stage Graduation and the beginning of working life.
Dr. Basma Shoman congratulated the graduates on their arrival to achieve their dream of achieving success and excellence, and that they will carry out a lofty mission, which is treating patients' pain.
Dr. Ahmed Negm expressed his great pleasure with the graduates sharing their joy on this day. He also congratulated them and their parents, wished them a bright future, and advised them to take care of their patients.
Dr. Muhammad Shathwan gave a speech in which he expressed his pride in himself and his colleagues on the occasion of their graduation, and he also thanked his parents and faculty members.
The activities concluded with the distribution of shields to the graduates and taking souvenir photos.
