Opening of Madinat Al-Zahra building for female students after renovation
Coinciding with the celebrations of the glorious June 30 Revolution, and within the framework of Mansoura University's comprehensive plan to develop and modernize the various university city buildings, which provides additional places for housing in university cities.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University, Mr. Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Students, inaugurated today, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 AD, the Hussein Hammad and Asmaa bint Abi Bakr buildings in Al-Zahra City for female students after completing their complete renovation.
It is worth noting that the development and renovation operations have a total value of 19.809 million pounds, which included an amount of 16.358 million pounds for development construction, in addition to equipment, an amount of 3.451 million pounds.
The Hussain Hammad building consists of 104 rooms designated for housing for female students, administrative rooms, study rooms and TV viewing rooms, in addition to the fact that the ground floor has been equipped for students with special needs.
The Asmaa Bint Abi Bakr building also consists of 108 rooms dedicated to housing for female students, administrative rooms, study rooms and television viewing. The first floor of the building is also equipped with a fitness center and sauna.
